Fossils-Archaeopteryx lithographica

A fossil of Archaeopteryx- the first known "bird". Exhibits many reptilian traits alongside bird-like traits. Existed I the late Jurassic to Mesozoic period.

This species had fully developed flight feathers and a furcula (wishbone), but lacked many of the bone fusions seen in modern birds and had teeth.
